Ciao Aaron

Aaron_Swartz_at_Boston_Wikipedia_Meetup,_2009-08-18_

Tutankamun Exhibitions

Since the discovery in 1922 the artifacts from the tomb have left the Cairo Musuem, where they are normally kept, only few times in occasion of great travelling exhibitions.
I wanted to rediscover the history of these great exhibitions all around the world and I started to search and collect information about them.
This and the next posts would like to be and attempt to record the progress of my research .

  • Tutankhamun Treasures (1961–1967)
  • The Treasures of Tutankhamun (1972–1981)
  • Tutankhamun – The Golden Beyond
Treasures from the Valley of the Kings (2004-2005)
  • Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs (2005-2011)
  • Tutankhamun: The Golden King and the Great Pharaohs (2008-present)
